Crews responded to a fire that damaged a home in the 3200 block of Villanova Street Tuesday afternoon. No injuries were reported.
Crews from the University Park Fire Department, Dallas Fire-Rescue and Highland Park Department of Public Safety responded to the blaze in the 3200 block of Villanova Street, according to a post from UPFD on social media.
A University Park spokesperson says the fire was contained to about 20% of the home and no one was home at the time of the fire.
Airline Road between Wentwood Drive and Northwest Highway and Villanova Street between Hillcrest Avenue and Airline Road were closed as of shortly before 2 p.m. as first responders worked.
The scene was cleared and roads reopened as of shortly before 4 p.m. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
