We just heard from Tim Gunter, HPHS band director, that the ladies of the winter color guard (first row, from left: Mary Joan Stevenson and Charlotte Wright; second row, from left: Emma Pratt, Rebecca Smith, Caroline Gharis, Annie King, and Simone Hudgens) were promoted from Regional AAA class to Scholastic Regional AA after receiving fourth place in their class at a North Texas Color Guard Association competition on Friday at Colleyville Heritage. They’re slated to compete again on Saturday at Bowie High School in Arlington. Congrats and good luck ladies!
