If you dined at Cafe Pacific on Saturday night and wondered why your server presented a complimentary glass of champagne, wonder no more. According to the lovely and talented Hillary Artzt Gilbert, spokeswoman for Highland Park Village, the bubbly was Cafe Pacific owner Jack Knox’s way of celebrating the fact that his establishment was the editors’ pick for Best Seafood Restaurant in D Magazine’s “Best of Big D” issue.
