A few years ago, my alma mater, Allegheny College, was included in a book called Colleges That Change Lives. The 40 schools featured in that book have joined forces to produce a nationwide tour of college fairs. The Dallas edition will be held Aug. 14 at the Westin Galleria.
If, like me, you decide to attend Allegheny after growing up in Dallas, I can tell you one way your life will change: You will see more snow in your freshman year than the total you’ve seen in every other winter you’ve experienced.
