Former first lady Laura Bush will be the Highland Park High School baccalaureate speaker, the district announced today.
The May 20 event will take place at the Meyerson Symphony Hall, with each graduate receiving three additional tickets.
“She was our first choice as a speaker all along, and once we learned she had agreed, we were so excited,” senior class president Carlton Adams said.
