There was a gun on the W.T. White High School campus today, principal Michelle Thompson said in a letter to parents. After a student discovered a gun in his backpack, a gun that he claims was not his, he showed it to a teacher, who made sure it was placed under lock and key.
A community meeting regarding school safety has been scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the library.
