The Preston Hollow Democrats have announced the guest speakers for their next two meetings. The group will host former City Councilwoman Angela Hunt on Aug. 8, followed by Cal Jillson, a professor of political science at SMU, on Sept. 12.
Both meetings begin at 6 p.m. at the Preston Royal Library, with the speakers taking the floor shortly after the bottom of the hour. If you submit your name by 6:30 on Sept. 12, you’ll be eligible to win a copy of Jillson’s latest book, Lone Star Tarnished, donated by Mel Kusin.
