For the first time since I arrived at Park Cities People two years ago, two projects don’t loom darkly on the horizon, waiting to gobble any councilman, resident, or reporter along the way: the Chase Bank building project and the YMCA project.
Not that either of these are going away of course, but there’s a pause. A detente. Chase Bank will return, and within a few weeks I expect we’ll hear what the next step is in the YMCA’s plans.
But, for now, stay home. Stay far away from University Park City Hall. Hug your children. Reclaim your Tuesday night. Rest.
