A thief made off with a Mercedes GLE 350 that belonged to a woman from the 4600 block of Fairfax Avenue before 10:55 a.m. Police were able to track the Mercedes to Garland.

A fraudster scammed a woman in the 4600 block of Belclaire Avenue out of $1,500 and her driver’s license number before 10:37 a.m.
Stolen before 1 p.m.: a woman’s black Mercedes, a MacBook Air, a Wilson tennis racquet, and antique door knobs in the 4600 block of Fairfax Avenue.
Before 4:42 p.m., two bicycles were stolen from a home in the 4200 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

A woman’s car was damaged in a collision at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Preston Road. The driver did not leave identifying information, but the woman recorded their license plate number.
Four thieves stole $2,905.75 worth of American Airlines miles from a woman in the 4300 block of Mockingbird Lane before 5:32 p.m.

A reckless driver hit a man’s car parked outside his house in the 3400 block of Dartmouth Avenue and didn’t leave identifying information before 1 p.m.
Before 5:46 p.m., a man’s Ray-Ban Sunglasses and three 50-round boxes of ammunition were stolen from the 3600 block of Harvard Avenue.

A 45-year-old man’s Canon camera worth $300 was stolen from his home in the 3200 block of Northwest Parkway before 11:37 a.m.
