I toured the Alexander Mansion recently while on a mother-daughter date, and over the course of the afternoon my mom and I both fell in love with the historic style and beautiful Christmas decor that the ladies of the Dallas Woman’s Forum have put up for the holiday season.

Yesterday the Forum’s European-style tea service began, meaning the room you see above has been transformed by delicate tea tables topped with trays of cherry-almond scones, cinnamon honey butter, Mexican hot chocolate mousse, and other tasty treats and sips. From the press release:
The European Tea Room will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday, December 12, through Friday, December 21. A three-course tea will be served on fine china. Reservations are $45 for adults (tea, champagne, tax and gratuity included); $15 for children under 12. Tours of the Mansion are $5, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations are available online at www.dallaswomansforum.org or by calling 214-823-4533.
Before you sit down for a spot of tea, enjoy a few more shots of the beautiful decor — they’re sure to make your (holiday) spirit soar.
