Highland Park ISD is offering counseling services to students and staff in need of support.
The district wrote in a message on Facebook:
Our hearts are heavy as we share the tragic news of the devastating floods that occurred in the Texas Hill Country. Counseling services will be offered this week to assist students and staff as they navigate this difficult time.
We encourage any HPISD student who may need to talk with a counselor to take advantage of these resources. Counselors will be available on Tuesday, July 8 and Thursday, July 10 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Boone Elementary. You can also reach out to your campus principal or counselor if you are in need of additional resources.
