For Patsy Miller, moving to Edgemere was the result of a dream planted years earlier. Originally from Dallas, she and her husband settled in Roswell, New Mexico, and spent more than fifty years together there. But when her husband passed and her grown children moved away, Miller began to think about the future — and remembered visiting her father’s cousin, who lived at the senior living community in Dallas’s prestigious Preston Hollow neighborhood.
“My dad and I were walking down Edgemere’s beautiful hallway near the concierge,” she recalls. “I told him, ‘I want to live here someday.’”
