Hillcrest High School alumnus and Detroit Pistons guard Daniss Jenkins returned to campus on Dec. 17 for a special jersey presentation and student-athlete assembly. Jenkins joined students, staff, alumni, and teammates to dedicate a signed Pistons jersey.
During the event, Jenkins spoke with students about his journey from Dallas ISD to the NBA, offering encouragement and answering questions about perseverance and pursuing dreams. Jenkins is the second alumnus in school history to reach the NBA.
