More than 15,000 people in North Texas are currently living with Parkinson’s — and that number continues to rise.
Please join us on Saturday, April 11, as families, friends, neighbors, and community partners come together to raise awareness, show support, and stand strong for those living with the fastest-growing neurological disease at the Second Annual Dallas Walk for Parkinson’s, hosted by Dallas Area Parkinson Society and Edgemere, Dallas’s premier destination for vibrant, luxurious 55+ living.
From 8 to 10 a.m. at 8523 Thackery Street in Dallas, participants will enjoy live music from the Honeybutton Band, games and entertainment for children, raffle prizes, and the powerful experience of walking alongside others who understand the challenges and resilience that come with Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s affects entire families—so bring your loved ones, rally your friends, and help us take meaningful steps toward hope, connection, and a brighter future.
This wheelchair-accessible walk features evenly paved routes, resting stations, complimentary water and refreshments, and shuttle assistance from nearby parking at Park Cities Baptist Church. Leashed pets are welcome.
