After University Park celebrated its centennial in 2024, the commemorative centennial bricks are set to be installed this summer.
The bricks are tentatively set to be installed during the week of June 22 in Centennial Park (formerly Goar Park) near the fountain, close to the intersection of Vassar Avenue and Turtle Creek Boulevard, according to University Park Community Information Officer Paige Ruedy.
University Park celebrated its 100th year of incorporation April 12, 2024 with a week of historical and community-centered events. The grand finale finale of the week was a celebration in Centennial Park that featured local performers, vendors, and a drone show.
