Officials are investigating after they say a man’s body was found in Bachman Lake Sunday.
Dallas Fire-Rescue received a report around 6:30 p.m. May 10 that a man had gone into the lake near the 9300 block of Webb Chapel Road and hadn’t resurfaced, spokesman Jason Evans said.
Evans said it was initially unclear whether the man jumped into or fell into the water, but he was reported to have gone into the water at a bridge on Webb Chapel Road behind a Whataburger restaurant between Northwest Highway and Shorecrest Drive.
The Dallas Police Department also responded and police say their preliminary investigation determined the man jumped into the water and his body was later found nearby.
