Sure, the expansion of the Highland Park Middle School cafeteria and the reconstruction of the Park Cities YMCA are big deals. But what caught my eye on the agenda for this evening’s University Park City Council meeting is a scheduled 10-minute discussion of a “possible modification of [the] pool pass ordinance to allow use by former mayors no longer residing within University Park.” If that gets approved, I’m going to propose that the pool passes also be made available to Park Cities People managing editors who have never resided within University Park. I want another shot at the water slide.
