SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: LEMONADE STAND SCUFFLE

Reported at 8:13 p.m. July 9: A jerk threw lemonade at two boys operating a lemonade stand at the corner of Golf Drive and Normandy Avenue, got out of a vehicle, and chased them around with a chair before stealing $50 that had fallen and fleeing the scene.

7 Tuesday

Reported at 7:27 p.m.: An autonomous vehicle may have hit a Porsche Panamera that was parked in the 3600 block of Gillon Avenue.

8 Wednesday

Reported at 2:06 p.m.: A careless driver hit a Land Rover parked in Highland Park Village, damaging it, before fleeing the scene.

9 Thursday

Reported at 9:58 a.m.: A swindler transferred a phone number of a resident in the 4700 block of Drexel Drive without authorization.

Arrested at 3:57 p.m.: A 33 year old for theft in the 4200 block of Lakeside Drive.

10 Friday

Arrested at 3:57 a.m.: A 23 year old for warrants in the 4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

Reported at 6:01 p.m.: A shoplifter hid a $580 belt under his clothes at the Fendi store in Highland Park Village and left the store with it.

11 Saturday

Reported at 11:26 a.m.: A pilferer stole $84 worth of items from a package that was left at a home in the 3200 block of Princeton Avenue.

12 Sunday

Arrested at 2:58 a.m.: A 26 year old for possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while intoxicated with an open alcohol container in the 3400 block of Dartmouth Avenue.

Reported at 1:26 a.m.: An opportunistic thief stole a Range Rover Sport that’d been left unlocked in the 4200 block of Edmondson Avenue.

Reported at 5:15 p.m.: A 32 year old for a warrant and driving with an invalid license at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and the Dallas North Tollway.

Reported at 12:10 p.m.: How easy was it for a ne’er do well to get into a vehicle on Granada Avenue and rummage through it? The vehicle was left unlocked.

Reported at 6:52 p.m.: A fraudster used the information of a resident on Villanova Drive to steal Bitcoin.
