How to Join Next Leadership UP Class

The next Leadership University Park class is forming for residents interested in learning more about the city’s history, opportunities, resources, and more.

The 17-month program features monthly presentations starting in October and conluding in March of 2028. It’s open to University Park residents only and costs $300 per person. The class is limited to 25 people, and applications are open through September 14.

“In addition to covering all aspects of City operations, class members will receive presentations from sister entities including HPISD, SMU, the George W. Bush Presidential Library and the Dallas County Park Cities Municipal Utility District. The program’s ultimate objective is to provide a pathway for residents who are interested in serving on one of the City’s boards or committees,” a post on the city of University Park’s website about the program reads.
