What are zines? Zines (pronounced zeen) are self-published or independently made booklets, either by an individual or within a group. International Zine Library Day is celebrated on July 21st of every year.

Claudia Carson-Habeeb, managing editor of People Newspapers, got her start at The Baylor Lariat.
