Texas Women’s Foundation

Renda Mathew, who has been named chair-elect of the Texas Women’s Foundation board, and Ashleigh Everett, who is one of three new board directors of the foundation.  Mathew will serve a two-year term from July 1, 2027, to June 30, 2029. Texas Women’s Foundation raises funds to help eliminate barriers to women’s economic security, stability, and success through targeted research and advocacy.

Recent Hockaday School graduate Rabel McNutt, who was selected as a college intern at the Vatican Museums’ Patrons Office following a competitive interview and screening process. In that role, she has supported the Papal office that coordinates a global network of benefactors who fund critical restoration and conservation projects for the Vatican’s priceless art collections.

Win Bell, who has been awarded The Catholic Foundation Award in recognition of his more than two decades of service to Catholic schools and North Texas nonprofits. Bell will be honored on Feb. 20, 2027, at the 44th annual Catholic Foundation Award Dinner at the Hilton Anatole. Bell, a former trustee of The Catholic Foundation, has helped guide more than 20 Catholic schools, educational institutions, and Dallas-area nonprofits.

Former Ursuline student Sarah Welch who has co-authored the children’s book How to Fill Your Hug Bank. The indie picture book is built around the idea that love takes many more forms than we usually think, and that children can always find ways to feel connected. Welch recently participated in a storytime hour at Interabang Books.
