After opening the season with back-to-back losses, Jesuit Dallas will be seeking a third consecutive win on the gridiron at 7 p.m. Friday when it hosts McKinney Boyd.
The Rangers are riding high after defeating Forney, 31-14, on Sept. 11 before topping Princeton on the road Friday in the District 6-6A opener, 45-0.
The Rangers racked up 514 yards of offense in the win over Princeton, including 269 rushing and 245 passing.
Jesuit showed big-play ability on the ground, including a 59-yard touchdown run from Gage Griffin and a 84-yard touchdown dash from George Gladstone.
Quarterback J.P. Livingston, meanwhile, completed 18-of-24 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns, including four receptions for 82 yards to Joseph Konings.
The Broncos come in sporting a 1-3 record and are coming off a 27-0 loss to open district against Prosper Rock Hill.
Boyd also lost games to Keller (41-27) and Flower Mound (28-24) with its lone win over Richardson Pearce (29-7).
Against Rock Hill, Boyd managed just 157 yards of offense, including 81 passing.
The highlight for Boyd’s offense was running back Kaiden Washington, who gained 10 carries for 103 yards.
