A few weeks ago, we brought you a story about Connecting Point of Park Cities, a group raising funds to provide day programs for special-needs adults. Connecting Point president Sarah Oliai dropped me a line to say Liberty Burger, which was founded by Highland Park High School graduate Mariel Street, is helping the organization, pledging $1 for every Limited Time Only Burger sold in August. “CPPC is very excited to partner with Liberty Burger in our ongoing fundraising efforts to provide this much-needed service,” Oliai said.
