The Dallas Marathon would have been run through portions of Highland Park, on streets including Turtle Creek Boulevard, Lakeside Drive, Armstrong Avenue, Byron Avenue, and Beverly Drive. But race officials have decided that the icy conditions would have made it impossible to pull off the event safely.
