The Highland Park girls soccer team has scheduled its first-round playoff game. The Lady Scots will take on the Paris Lady Wildcats at 5:30 on Monday in Royse City. A sendoff ceremony is scheduled for 3:20 in front of Highlander Stadium.
The Lady Scots capped a perfect 8-0 run through district play on Tuesday with a 10-0 home win over Newman Smith. Highland Park got two goals each from Grace Hill, Hope Hyde, Savanna Jones, and Sara Summers. Rachel O’Neal and Lauren Pacewicz each scored once.
Tuesday’s game was also Senior Night, when the program honored Jordan Bethea, Caroline Gould, Diana Kay Manley, Rachel O’Neal, Sara Summers, Abby Tisdale, and A.K. Tucker.
