Some Girl Scouts from University Park Elementary School went above and beyond in their endeavor to donate books to a nonprofit organization called Brother Bill’s Helping Hands.
The girls of Troop 246 set a goal to collect 100 books, but far exceeded that mark. They delivered more than 500 books to the center in west Dallas on Nov. 14.
