Congratulations to the first class of graduates from the local chapter of the Young Men’s Service League, who were recognized during a ceremony on March 22 at Northwood Country Club.
The mother-son nonprofit serves several agencies in the Dallas community through service projects and fundraisers. The graduation ceremony included a presentation by Dr. Stephen Burgher, medical commander in the U.S. Navy who served in Afghanistan in 2013 and 2014.
The local chapter was started four years ago, meaning that the current class is the first to participate during all four years of high school.
