On April 22, Demarcus Cortez Brown was arrested by Dallas Police at a residence in East Dallas for the aggravated robbery at SMU in the 2900 block of SMU Boulevard.
On April 17, Brown robbed a group of students and a parent at gunpoint.
According to UPPD spokesperson Lita Snellgrove, UPPD recovered evidence at the arrest location that connected Brown with more robberies in other jurisdictions.
Detectives from Dallas, SMU, and Richardson PD assisted in the investigation.
