Pastels and bright spring attire dotted the crowd as more than 2,500 children with baskets in hand fanned out for the Turtle Creek Park Easter Egg Hunt.

Children age 10 and under participated in the 50-year-old tradition, which featured 15,000 treat-filled eggs, photos with the Easter Bunny, music, food trucks, The DSO Brass Quintet, a sponsor recognition wall, and the ever-popular Pooch Parade.

The event, hosted by the Turtle Creek Park Conservatory, is a 50+ year-old annual tradition held at the historic green space in the heart of the city.

Susan and John Farris and family served as honorary chairs. The Farris family includes Susan and John, Lora Farris, Virginia and Matt Olson, John Farris Jr., and granddaughters Annie, Avery, and Elle Olson.

Junior grand marshals were William and Collins Floyd, son and daughter of Laura and Bill Floyd, and grandchildren of Lynn and Peter Dauterman.
