Under a glowing summer sky, Dallas came together at Klyde Warren Park for a lively celebration of Independence Day.
Presented by Texas Capital, the festivities opened with a dramatic flyover by the 457th Fighter Squadron in four F-35 aircraft soaring over downtown.
Ben E. Keith Company and the Kristin and James Hallam Family served as honorary chairs of the signature event.
Music from Emerald City Band brought the crowd to its feet, before Mayor Pro Tem Jesse Moreno counted down to the colorful fireworks display.
Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Gay Willis and Dallas Chief of Police Daniel Comeaux were also in attendance as this year’s fireworks lit up the sky.
VIP guests, hosted by Ben Abbott & Associates, enjoyed libations provided by Mi Cocina and sandwiches and salads provided by Wendy Krispin Caterer.
Festive touches at the event also included caricature artists and glitter tattoo artists.
The fireworks display, presented by Crescent Row and Oncor, burst from atop the Muse Family Performance Pavilion.
