The nationwide bookstore chain has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is closing 30 percent of its stores, Borders announced today. Two stores on the chopping block are the Preston Road and McKinney Avenue locations. Events are scheduled at the Preston Road store through mid-April, but reports indicate the closures could occur as soon as March.
