Celebrity-backed PopUp Bagels has brought its New York-style fare to its first Texas location in Inwood Village.

It officially opens at 5450 W. Lovers Lane in Inwood Village on April 24.

The no frills hot bagel spot is known for its “grip, rip and dip” method of enjoying bagels that involves dipping hot bagels in a variety of cream cheese flavors. PopUp Bagels doesn’t slice or toast their bagels, nor do they serve sandwiches.

PopUp Bagels was started by Adam Goldberg in Westport, Connecticut, and has gone on to earn acclaim and attract celebrity backers including actor Paul Rudd, swimmer Michael Phelps, TV host Michael Strahan, and more, per reports.

Now it has locations open or coming soon in California, Connecticut, Washington, D.C., Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and now Texas, according to the PopUp Bagels website.

Following the announcement of its planned Dallas location, PopUp Bagels announced on social media that it’s also planning a location in Houston.
