The Mockingbird National Charity League kicked off the school year with a retreat for the daughters, or ticktockers, to the East Dallas Boys & Girls club.
The ticktockers filled boxes with donations of various school supplies to meet their philanthropy goal, and decorated pencils for the kids of the Boys & Girls Club.
Lauren Cook, former ticktocker and author, spoke to the girls about goal-setting and giving back.
