Highland Park will begin spraying for mosquitoes again following a positive sample for West Nile Virus on the east side of town. The areas sprayed include quadrants C and D. Here’s the schedule:
Friday, Sept. 11: East of Preston Road to town limits
Saturday, Sept. 12: East of Preston Road to town limits
Sunday, Sept. 13: East of Preston Road to town limits
As always, spraying will take place for public rights-of-way and tennis courts from 10 p.m. at night to 6 a.m. the following morning. High winds or rain could delay the spraying.
You know the drill: clean out your dog’s water bowl, bring pets inside during spraying, roll up your car windows, yada yada. Stay safe out there, kids.
