Three days, 60 miles and $2.8 million later, the 2015 Susan G. Komen Dallas-Fort Worth 3-Day concluded Sunday, Nov. 8 in Fair Park.
Participants spent the weekend walking through Dallas-area communities and camping in pink tents. The money raised went to breast cancer research and community outreach programs.
Since its founding in 1982, Komen has funded more than $889 million in research and $1.95 billion in screening, education, and support programs in more than 30 countries.
