An intersection improvement project started today at Mockingbird lane and Abbott Avenue. The construction will include improvements to the roadway, sidewalk, and signal lights.
While there will be lane adjustments for east and west bound traffic, only one lane in each direction will be closed.
According to a press release from the Town of Highland Park, one block of Abbott Avenue between Drexel Drive and Mockingbird Lane will be closed during the project, which is slated to be complete in August.
