Park Cities People’s own Len Bourland recently released her first book, Normal ‘s Just a Cycle on a Washing Machine. The humorous memoir features excerpts from many of her columns. It recounts her journey through divorce, public scandal, dating again, and becoming a grandmother.
The St. Michaels Women’s Exchange will host a book signing from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 6. Bourland will also read passages and sign copies from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Preston Royal Barnes and Noble.
Bourland has written columns for more than 20 years. She is also a vice president in the real estate industry, and an occasional guest commentator for KERA 90.1 FM.
