Dallas CASA needs more male volunteers to be champions for abused children.
Men of Dallas CASA are inviting those interested in volunteering to a barbecue and beer reception followed by an information session for men to learn about standing up for child victims of abuse and neglect by becoming a volunteer advocate.
The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 23 (programming begins at 6:30 p.m.) at the Dallas CASA office, 2757 Swiss Ave. Catering will be provided by Not Just Q and Tupps Brewery.
