Preston Hollow’s Debra Hunter Johnson, who describes her career as consulting at the intersection of people, data, and culture, has supported Texas Women’s Foundation “with my time and resources for close to 15 years.”

The foundation, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary next year, provides women, girls, and their families with the essentials for economic security, so that they can thrive.

“When women are supported, the entire family benefits, which means that society as a whole benefits,” Johnson said. “I like the amplified impact of the work of TXWF and particularly its work in advocacy.”

How did you get involved with this nonprofit?

TXWF’s events first drew me in with their powerful thought leadership. Serving on the board and as a founding member of a giving circle deepened my understanding of the critical issues facing women in Texas — and gave me a platform to drive strategic impact.

Why do you support it today?

When women win, we all win, so it is a wise investment.

What would you say to someone else considering a donation to the nonprofit this year?

Please invest in TXWF! The ROI in impact plus smiles and heartwarming moments is immeasurable.
