Last week, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League (DSOL) celebrated the 2026 debutantes with an evening of elegance at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
Held on Nov. 26, the evening included a cocktail reception, a seated dinner, and the recognition of each debutante and honor guard escort. DSOL president Claire Catrino, herself a 2011 debutante, greeted the honorees and their families.
“The Presentation Ball is one of our most cherished traditions of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra League,” said Catrino. “It reflects grace, family, service, and a shared commitment to supporting music education throughout our community.”
This year marks major milestones for community, including the DSOL’s 80th anniversary, the 40th Presentation Ball, and the 125th anniversary of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. The evening celebration kicked off a full holiday weekend for the debutantes and honor guards, which featured a festive mixer and the Bow Boot Camp.
The event was co-chaired by Maggie Kipp and Kristin Hallam, with honorary chairs Fanchon and Howard Hallam represented by their son, James Hallam. Stan Gardner returned as emcee for the night, introducing the 44 debutantes and each of their honor guards. Following the presentation, guests enjoyed a beautifully crafted dinner coordinated by Event Chair Mari Epperson.
