Klyde Warren Park Fires Up its Independence Day Celebration
Klyde Warren Park continues its World Cup watch parties, and is hosting events this Fourth of July. Dallas’ titular Independence Day celebration features patriotic music from the Emerald City band, fun activities for the kids, and an astonishing pyrotechnic showcase. Bask in the glow of the fireworks on the lawn or grab a bite to eat at one of their various food trucks. Attendance is free to all from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m on July 4.
Star Spangled Spectacular Dazzles with Dallas Winds Performance
For those who prefer a more air-conditioned setting to celebrate, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and the Dallas Winds invite citizens to their Star Spangled Spectacular. Hosting a live musical performance and indoor fireworks, this symphony of sounds ensures high-octane fun for all ages. The Spectacular is set for 1 p.m. on July 4; tickets prices are $35 – $91. Hot dogs and ice cream will be available at the venue.
Kaboom Town Blows Addison Sky High
For over 40 years, Addison has blown the roof off the town with Kaboom Town; the festival is known nationwide for its kinetic pyrotechnic work and has been named one of the best fireworks shows in America. Along with the Addison Airport Show, which displays a wide selection of historic warbirds and aerial stunts, it is sure to take the crowd to the danger zone. The show runs from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 3, with tickets being available through their website.
Park Cities Marches on with its Annual Fourth of July Parade
The Rotary Club of Park Cities is back with its annual Fourth of July parade, which celebrates not just 250 years of America, but 10 years since the parade began to raise money for the North Texas Food Bank. Featuring Grand Marshal Ret. Navy Adm. Patrick M. Walsh, the 2026 goal is to provide 3 million meals by 2028. Beginning at 9 a.m. on July 4, the parade will be held in Centennial Park, where families can participate in the bike decorating contest at the Moody YMCA, as well as face painting and a petting zoo. Admission is free for all, and Park Cities hopes neighbors will contribute on their website.
Preston Hollow and Hillcrest Forest Hop on The Fourth of July Fun
In the quiet neighborhoods of Preston Hollow and Hillcrest Forest, a booming celebration for the Fourth of July will take place, starting at 9:30 a.m. The annual event, hosted at Kramer Elementary, promises a vintage car show, face painters, and balloon artists.
