Duro Hospitality, the hyper-creative group behind such dynamic restaurants as The Charles, El Carlos Elegante, and Mister Charles, is opening Norman’s Japanese Grill, a “genre defying” concept that embraces fire and ice to serve char-grilled meats alongside a raw bar.
The restaurant opens to the public on August 1 at 4002 Oak Lawn Ave. just north of Turtle Creek Village in the space formerly occupied by Homewood, which closed on Feb. 15, 2023, and has been vacant since.
Norman’s Japanese Grill is open for dinner only, from 4 to 10 p.m. on weekdays and until 11 p.m. on weekends. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.
