Northaven United Methodist’s spring discussion series will address both the foundations of social justice as well as specific issues related to the topic. The format will include a presentation by a guest speaker followed by a question/answer session and small group discussion. While there is no fee to attend, donations are appreciated.
First on the agenda: On Jan. 17, Ryan Valentine of the Texas Freedom Network presents “Keeping the Faith: Protecting Religious Liberty in Texas Public Education.” Session will run from 7-8:45 p.m. in the Northaven sanctuary. See the rest of the schedule here.
