Jesuit Dallas junior Charlie Gall reached the 100-goal milestone for his career during a 24-3 win over Garland in the bi-district round of the UIL water polo playoffs on Monday.
Gall, the son of Jesuit head coach Jason Gall, scored four goals and teammate Aiden Reardon added six for the Rangers (12-13), who took a 9-0 lead in the first half and never looked back. They will host Flower Mound Marcus in the next round.
Meanwhile, Highland Park also started its postseason run in convincing fashion, with a 23-8 win over North Garland on Monday. After equaling their highest offensive output of the season, the Scots (13-10) will travel to face Flower Mound later this week.
In girls action, HP has a bye in the opening round. The Lady Scots (12-7) will start the playoffs on Thursday against Marcus, hoping to avenge a 17-5 loss from earlier this season.
