Giddy up! Tickets are on sale for Equest’s 45th-annual Blue Ribbon Gala supporting the nonprofit’s equine-facilitated therapeutic programming.
This year’s gala will be from 6-11 p.m. April 25 at Gilley’s Dallas at 1135 Botham Jean Boulevard and feature a cocktail reception, seated dinner, live and silent auctions, and music from Jordan Kahn’s Manhattan Orchestra. Melinda and Mark Knowles are this year’s gala chairs and Lynn McBee is this year’s honorary chair. Individual tickets start at $400 and are available here.
“Run for the Roses symbolizes the determination it takes to overcome challenges and the victories, both big and small, experienced by our clients,” said Equest CEO Eric Lindh. “At the heart of those breakthroughs is the powerful bond between client and horse, and the Blue Ribbon Gala helps ensure that our extraordinary therapy horses can continue delivering life-changing impact for years to come.”
During the event, Leslie and Hawkins Golden will receive the Founders Award and Carol Huckin will receive the Citation Award.
