University Park’s oldest congregation met for the first time in 1899 at Temple Emanu-El because no churches would welcome its members in their buildings. The congregation has since made it a mission to open its doors to others in need of a place.

UP Staff to Hold Meeting on Snider Plaza Construction
An in-person meeting will be held in City Council chambers at 3800 University Blvd. at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30. A virtual meeting will be held via webinar at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 25. The same information will be presented at both meetings, and staff will answer questions from attendees.
