Park Cities mom Christine Goff hopes to share love and support with those affected by the catastrophic flooding in Kerr County, and she is looking for help to make that happen.
Goff plans to give camp boxes that contain notes and other small but meaningful items to children and families affected by the disaster.
The boxes’ contents could include candy, gift cards to local stores, and small, age-appropriate toys or activities, such as coloring books and silly putty.
Goff also hopes to add notes and homemade cards to let children and families know that the community is thinking of them, and that their friends are there for them when they are ready.
“I don’t know any of these families personally,” she said. “But I grieve for them through this.”

- An individual familiar with Google Docs.
- Items to include in the boxes. These could be candy, age-appropriate toys and games that might be sent to a camper, notes, and gift cards to local stores, including Target, Tom Thumb, nail salons, and Snider Plaza favorites such as Short Stop and Logos Bookstore.
- Green wrapping paper.
