The award-winning Highland Belles drill team has added 36 new members to its 2026-27 line.
The Belles’ 44th line will total 99 members, making it the largest ever in the drill team’s history.
Hopeful and returning Belles completed a rigorous week-long training process that culminated in independently judged tryouts on Dec. 6.
The new Highland Belles will begin their workout and off-season training in January alongside the current team. Team managers will be confirmed next semester.
The first team performance will be featured at the Contest Showoffs on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 6:00 pm in Highland Park High School’s competition gym.
