Todd and Abigail (Abby) Williams were honored with the J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award from SMU’s Maguire Center for Ethics and Public Responsibility on April 16.

Presented annually, the award recognizes individuals whose careers exemplify moral leadership, public virtue, and a sustained commitment to serving the greater good.

On April 21, civic and business leaders were invited into Dallas ISD classrooms to engage with students, reported United to Learn, an education non-profit founded by Abby Williams.

Guests participated in reading together in classrooms at the Walnut Hill International Leadership Academy, highlighting how United to Learn brings together advocates, schools, and educators to expand access to literacy and learning for every student in the community.

After district trustee Sarah Weinberg welcomed guests, Walnut Hill Academy’s principal Philip Meaker discussed the daily impact the programming has had on his students, adding how the recognition honors Abby’s incredible leadership along with the learning opportunities made possible by United to Learn.
