The Christian-based organization was inspired by faith, hope, and love of Elizabeth Toon, a 2002 graduate of Highland Park High School who was tragically killed in California by a hit-and-run driver.

Since its inception in 2007, the nonprofit has raised more than $9.5 million for Dallas area children’s charities. Partner charities include Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Camp John Marc, the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, and The Ashford Rise School of Dallas.

The concert at Gilley’s Dallas on Friday, May 8, will feature country artist Wade Bowen. Doors open at 7 p.m.

The Clay Shoot Tournament is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, at the Dallas Gun Club. Team check in and registration begins at 10 a.m. A BBQ lunch will be provided by Benchmark Bank & Title. The event will wrap up with a happy hour, awards, and raffle drawing at 2 p.m.

The Clay Shoot and Concert’s title sponsors are JLL and Permian Resources.
